Negotiation?

Hi guys,

I have a bit of an "emergency" question, as it were. I was looking for tips of negotiation. I have found on a free-ad (I sometimes tour over to see what's there) and someone is selling a bearded dragon which appears to have MBD. He's selling for £100 right now, now I think I might be pushing the budget a little (when add the vet trip I'll be taking) and especially since there's no clue to how long they've had this issue.

Does anyone have any tips on how to secure a better price (for lack of better wording) for this sort of situation?

I would offer half of what your willing to pay and go from there. That's how I do all my haggling if you reach more then you want to pay just walk away.
