Haven't been on here in awhile but I just upgraded my tank from a 30gal to a 100gal yesterday. I got the new tank plus a huge box of supplies for only $50 so obviously, I'm not really complaining haha. The only thing I don't like about it is, the top is in 3 parts. There is only one part that is screen, which is in the middle. I'm in the process of setting it up, getting ready for him to be transfered over. I keep his cool side on the right because my outlets are on the left hand side so his basking area is usually towards the middle & the left is kept warm. But since the left part of the top is glass, I don't know what to do with the lighting. Would it be bad if I used a clamp and attached a light over the glass or is that just a bad idea?
Also, the right side of the top is missing its part. What can I use to close that up so he doesn't get out? All of his furniture isn't high enough to reach the very top but I still want to be safe.
