My Mr Bean

I have a new Beardie... got him in late Jan from Petsmart. They said he was 3 months old, he was 5 1/4" from snout to tip of tail when we got him... He is now only 6 1/4" from snout to tip of tail and should be, by their calculations, close to 5 months old! But what I am reading on here is that he should be around 10-12" by now... What's wrong with him? (or her) He will eat 8 crickets in a day, sometimes more... and sometimes only 1-2. We have him in a 15 gallon with a 50 watt basking light, and a Zilla 10.0 UVB light, which I have read is not a good one, so switching.... I try feeding him greens, like spinach leaves and romaine, he won't touch them.... Am I doing something wrong? He still poo's everyday, and I bathe him several times a week. I dust his food with calcium almost every time I feed him... and he hasn't shedded more than his tail the whole time we have had him... but he does pop his eyes out at least once every other day... which I read could be a couple of different things.... Any advice?

When I got Maynard from petsmart I was stunned, they had him in there with a very small heat lamp, no uvb, and were only feeding him iceberg lettuce. They did not know his exact age, but I'm guessing probably around the same age as your beardie. I have been doing the same things you have been doing and he is already looking better (Besides the fact that he just lost two toes). Keep doing what you are doing and give it time, it can take awhile for lizards that were in that crappy of conditions to recover.
