Months long brumation...

Hi everyone,

My Beardie, Rex, has been in brumation for several several months now. He probably went to sleep around the end of August/beginning of September. Does it normally last this long? He is still alive, as I've tried coaxing him out with mealworms. He just looks at me then shuts his eyes again. Should I attempt to drag him out? I don't recall him sleeping for this long in years past...

My guys have been brumating for 2 months now. I take them out every 2 weeks to soak them and offer water. They drink it up.. Dont feed them, the food could spoil inside them.. I know how it is. I check on mines daily to make sure they are breathing.

I'm wondering if I should pull him out or not. I don't normally give him a bath, but if it'll wake him up I'll give it a try...

I check on them and if they awake i soak them. Im not doing it to wake them up. Let them sleep. Its part of nature. My oldest Dexter brumating for 3 months this year. he just woke up this weekend. Happiest and brightest colors on him since I got him..

He finally emerged the other day. I took some pictures of him because he always emerges more colorful than when he went in. I also realized that the 26th was his birthday. Gonna have to give him something special. Perhaps a redesigned setup??

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
