My gf and I have been putting together our vivarium for the past week. We finally got everything right on Thursday so today we purchased Dax. He is 6 weeks old and 6.25 inches long. The adults in the shop were all orange and blue so we're hoping Dax puts out some nice patterns as he ages. I've had him home for about 6 hours and hes eaten a few bites of our salad mix (zoo-med juvenile pellets, zucchini, squash, carrots, and broccoli mixed in a blender until it's at a dry salsa-like texture) and 3 meal worms. Needless to say we are excited!

i would be careful with the meal worms their shell is a little too hard for them to digest properly. you could try calci-worms (also called phoenix worms) they are really good for them and are a soft body worm

Yeah my gf was doing some research and they seem like the better option. How many can I expect him to eat in a day. I don't want to over order but you do save when you buy in bulk. Is it also correct that you don't even have to dust them with calcium supplement because they have so much naturally?

they naturally are high in calcium. you are supposed to feed them as many as they will eat in 15 min so the ammount varies.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
