This may be an odd question but what's the best/easiest way to measure a beardie? Mine is still a baby and although he's gotten MUCH better, he's still skittish and likes to run away. I've just been estimating so far and want to know the real number.

Thanks!

I am not sure the best way to do it yet myself. I have been using a ruler and getting my best guess based on their squiggly movements. LOL

Some people use a string and lay it down the back from nose tip to tail tip. Another way that I saw and loved is if you have a craft (fabric or paper) cutting mat that has the inches marked off just set the beardie on there (when they aren't active) and measure them that way. LOVE that idea.

I use a fabric measuring tape, lay it beneath her until she stops squirming and slowly pull it until the beginning lines up to her nose and look straight down for measurements.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
