Hi Guys,

I have a bearded dragon currently and have built a double stacked crossfire style encolosure. My beardie is going in the top vivarium and the second is currently empty. My first thought was to get a second beardie but I thought I would put it up for discussion out here. I would like to see what else is out there that requires similar care to the beardies. Low humidity, needs heat, eats veggies or insects, etc. So no iguanas, water dragons, or chameleons from what I have read and their need for water and/or humidity.

So what are some other lizards that woudl fit well in a 4x2x2 enclosure and are kid/family friendly?

Thanks!

You have a few options. You could get a bluetongued skink (they are pretty awesome. I have one and he's a character), a mali uromastyx (or some other uro, although that's my fave of the species ), or a group of leopard geckos to name a few.

Blue Tongue Skink. Uromastyx, Armadillo lizards are all desert dwellers.
But who wouldn't want another pooper?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
