If I'm reading Denise Bushnell's article correctly, I am to turn the lights on daily, even if my boys are covered up in their hides? This is my first experience with brumation, and my 2 boys are sound asleep. I wake them once a week for a drink and probiotics. On my third read of her article, the lighting part finally registered in my brain. I'm just having trouble figuring out how the lights can benefit them. Can someone please explain? Thank you!
