Hello everyone! My husband and I were holding Izabella and discussing how much we love her when we realized something. I will first mention that she has been in a partial brumation since mid November, although now she seems to be coming out of it and eating more and her activity is increasing. She seems healthy in every aspect, however we don't know if it's normal for her to be as tame as she is. If she's tired or ready for bed, she just hangs there when you hold her and lets you move her arms and legs, and she doesn't care. She does this even sometimes during the day, it's like dead weight. However, when she is ready to explore she isn't like this. It concerns us because we don't know if she's sick, or if she's just THAT used to us. She is super tame compared to our friends' beardie. Izabella lived in a pet store for many months before we brought her home, and they continuously played with her and held her, so right away she was tame... but now she seems SO comfortable it worries us. Any input would be appreciated!!! We are worried beardie parents! Thanks! :love5:

personally, we've never had any problems with our beardies (all 6, but only 2 at a time) not being used to humans. Even Rosie from before we purchased her, loved to be held. She used to put her front claws over my fingers when I held her.

just like this:

That was more than 2 years ago, now she looks more like this

My beardies the same, she snuggles into me and i could move her limbs etc without her seeming to care. Don't be worried, i think its a good thing that your beardie is that comfortable with you :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
