Jumping at glass?

Hi my beardie is jumping at the glass from the top of his rock (highest point in the viv). He does this probably 1-2 times a day. Everything is setup fine and he eats well now.. I think he is seeing his reflection in the glass but there is not much I can do about it.

Can he hurt himself with this?

Mine babies do this too! I think they see their reflection.

We put a background around their cage and they still do it but not as often.

I would try a background... But as for health problems, I wonder if its hurting them too.
