Is speed in Brumation?

Hello, so as some of you know i got Speed in feb. i rescued him. So i do not know his age but i do know he is full grown. about two months ago after i got home from vacation. speed stopped eating. i still give him a salad every morning, and insects in the after noon. but he will not eat. he has pooped 3 time in the last 2 months. all he does all day is sleep in the darkest corner of his cage. He has not lost any weight still at 425g. I am thinking about ordering horn worms, to see if that will do the trick. for the last week he has eaten two super worms a day, but no more than that.

I am not anywhere near knowledgeable in this topic but, from what I do know and what you are explaining it does sound like brumation. Please though don't take my word on that. How old is your UV source and what brand/type is it?

Just replaced it. its the repti-sun 10.0 36in. it other one was 5 months old.

Like Beardednoob, I'm no expert either. However, BD.org has an excellent article on brumation that I just read, and it does sound like what Speed may be going through.
