Dehydrating BSFL is actually pretty easy.
You can then use the dehydrated pupa for salad topping; or anything else.
Bird feed, anything.

Follow this guide if you want to get them bigger.
Guide to Growing Phoenix Worms
It's the guide I used to supersize my BSFL.

Start with your spread on the dehydrator:

And then leave the dehydrator to run for about 8-12 hours.
You want them Dry.!

Leftover food for my dragon.
This is how you want to do it.
You don't want them crawling out of the Food Dehydrator.

What you're left with:

Nice dehydrated BSFL that is very versatile.
For many uses that you may think of.
They are very healthy feeders.

Now you have Dried Compost bugs.
Store with a silica gel packet in a cool dry place.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
