It has taken me a while to be able to write this so please bear with me as I may cry.
I called him Buddy,but never really knew his name.... This very special beardie was the first beardie I ever saw. He belonged to a friend of mine and he is why I fell in love with beardies. My family and I were visiting a friend who does animals rescues and has his own graphics business(my hubby needed a stencil done for a paint job),when my husband called my attention to this "lizard" in an aquarium. At the time I had no idea what a beardie was.....let alone anything about them.
My husband was very caught up in this little lizard and continued to watch him for some time,eventually asking what I thought about having one of them for a pet. I told him I would have to look into what they required,etc..........before I could agree to care for one as I had no ideas about them,what the ate,aor anything else.
That is when my love for beardies started,with a simple snuggle from Buddy and the more aquainted we became,and the more I learned about these remarkable creatures the more I knew I had to have one.
Buddy,if you are listening,please find all of the beardies that my friends have lost and tell them that they are dearly missed and still loved. And please if you will wait for me at the rainbow bridge for a quick snuggle and hugs when it's time for us to meet again.............................
