I am going to be getting a bearded dragon in the next few months and was wondering what is people's experience with feeding frozen and thawed prey items (not freeze dried)- particularly insects? I currently gut load and freeze live crickets for my Ocellated Skink (who has been on the diet for 4 years now), but i was wondering what kind of success folks are having long term with this approach for their beardies? I am also interested in peoples experience freezing other prey items such as silkworms and phoenix worms and so on... as I intend on feeding the latter two more frequently then the crickets since they seem to be superior in nutrition.

If this is a feasible feeding strategy for my new lizard? It would save me a lot of time and money and also make for a very happy wife- that doesn't like live bugs in the house!!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
