Ok, let me explain. A few weeks ago (about...3 i think) My little brother got a bearded dragon. (Jealous of his sister? hmm...) Well, i KNEW my brother would NOT take care of it, but noooooo, my dad ignored me. So, after 3 weeks the poor dragon is living in a dumster and hasent been feed in over a week. I'v been grounded twice now for trying to feed the poor thing. And, my brother and dad now being gone for a few hours I grabbed the chance to give him a bath and some salad. While examing him, i found something alarming. His lower eye lid (on both sides) is drooping ALOT!! here are some pis...

Well in your case, it could be signs of dehydration. Charlie's eyes started dropping about a month after i got him. A billion baths and gallons of water later (well not that much ahha) his eyes were still droopy. Some dragons eyes are just droopy. But since this poor guy isn't being taken care of that well he could be in need of some water. If you can, give at least one 20 min bath a day and try to get some oral fluids in him. I put a little bit of baby food in a syringe along with water and drip it on my bd's nose and he'll drink it right up. Also, you could mist his veggies.

You know, he looks underweight and dehydrated. He doesn't have any fat stores that I can see...Poor guy...does he have the proper temps and uvb?

Yup, he has the propper temps and uvb. Hes not under weight, the breeder we got him from gave him a very good start at life, so he was in super good shape when we got him. And, thank you so much for the dehydration info-i will try to sneek him away once a day for a good, long soak.

It sucks that you keep getting grounded for trying to take proper care of him. Even if he is trying to teach your brother a lesson, it shouldn't be at the dragon's expense. Good thing he's got you to take care of him :) Let us know if his eyes start to look better!

im glad someone is trying to give him a good shot at live your father is being a prick sorry to say it your trying to help keep it up it seems like your that dragons only hope

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
