My favorite girl just layed her eggs. The substrate is currently a mix of sand, soil, and perlite. However, I just noticed that the perlite I got has been enriched with MiracleGrow. I have a bad feeling about it and I think it might be harmful to the developing embryo. Any comments? Any knowledge?

yeah you want to remove them from that asap. You should not use any type of fertilizer for your eggs to incubate in. You should use vermiculite or non-fertilized perlite, or a 50/50 mix of both.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
