I'm new to dubia roaches. a couple of times I've found what I thought was a dead sub-adult roach. When I picked it up, it was a completely hollow exo-skeleton so I though it was just a shedding. I kind of poked around and didn't find any white roaches. The question is:

how long does the roach stay white after a shed and does the shed look like a complete roach body(I thought maybe they shed in pieces), just hollow?

thanks

Yes, when roaches molt they leave behind a "shell," which is most noticeable with adults because it looks like a hollowed out roach. After molting they immediately begin to turn brown again, though the process takes several hours.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
