Hey guys I just made a order and I caught myself at the last minute what's the difference between Phoenix worms and BSFL? I thought they are basically the same thing yet if they are why sell both? For example I order almost everything from Josh's froggs for all my bugs when they are in stock and they sell both Phoenix worms and BSFL. Should I pay no attention and order either one or are they different

They are the same insect, but branded differently. PWs are a specific companies BSFL, supposedly fed a specific diet to provide the stated nutrient content.

BSFL is just a non-branded version of a pheonix worm.

It's no different than if I decided to start breeding mealworms. I want to brand them to market them specially as having a specific diet, and thus a better nutrient profile. So I call my worms Claudworms. They are still mealworms, just my specific mealworms sold from my specific company.

Ok so I went to look at Joshs Frogs and I cant find the phoenix worms - I did however find that they have Butterworms so that was a good thing - so I ordered some -- but from what I understand yes phoenix worms and BSFL are the same thing they are are also known as calci worms and nutri grubs

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
