I was considering a horned myself. From what I have learned, and please correct me if I'm wrong. They don't get very big, at least nothing like a beardie, maybe 9-11 inches at the biggest. Most don't like to be handled. I guess you could say they are a show lizard or just to be looked at. It just stresses them out be touched. They are insectivores, insect eater only. But like all reptile they should have a basking area with UVA and a UVB light. Calcium sand is alright but I would use reptile carpet. Hope this helps. Good Luck and if anyone thinks my info is wrong, please correct me as I do not own one myself. This is just what I have gathered over a couple of months of research.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
