I started a dubia colony two weeks ago. I received 50 males and 50 females, did research on how to keep them happy, and there is already lots of babies. But last week, I had two males dead, a few days apart. Is this normal? Could they just die of "old age", or should I look into something else?
It's been three days since the last death.
We checked temp on the first day with our beardie's thermometer, and it was warm enough. We renew the water pellets almost every day.
They seem to eat a lot, well they kind of make a mess of the food bowl, I find pieces of bread and cereal everywhere in the bin. We cleaned that up a few days ago, but it's still a mess. Not as clean creatures as my beardie!
