Last Night my husband went to feed our two, five/six year old bearded dragons, Vet(male) and Sandy(female). He noticed Vet had dug his head into his sand and wasnt moving. My husband pulled Vets head out of the sand and cleaned him off. His eyes were slightly open, but no movement from him at all. He didnt feel stiff or cold, but its hard to tell since their skin is rough. And we couldnt tell if he was breathing, if he was it wasnt very visable. All day today he still hasnt moved. His limbs are all flexible and his stomach is still soft but he looks ballooned now. His color is normal. Im hoping this is just brumation and he isnt dead. I dont want to bury him and him just be hibernating. Also, if I take him to a vet how do you suggest I transport him while in brumation??? Any suggestions would help!!!
