country greens mix

Now i usually try to avoid the produce section of walmart, but i run a nightclub so by the time i get off work, walmart is all thats open and i needed greens for in the am, well look what i stumbled across! It couldn't get any more convenient, 3 of our beardies recommended staples mixes and pre-cut. Score!

I couldn't find a smaller sized bag at Walmart and ended up with the jumbo size of a different brand and had to throw away a lot. Walmart produce in my area is awful. The Market Fresh brand of bagged greens always spoils and gets slimy days before the posted expiration date. Ugh.

yeah packaged greens will always tend to go gooey quick, i stopped getting them after a while, same issue of having to throw out so much... i was just giving the yucky bits to my feeders though.

I agree that the bagged greens aren't ideal if you have a choice. I've had good luck keeping greens fresher by putting them in ziploc bags with a piece of paper towel and squeezing the air out. Greens remain crisp for several days this way. I haven't tried it with the prepackaged greens but it may be worth a try.
