Coconut Fiber as Substrate?

Hi everyone! Im pretty new here and just wanted to say thanks for all the help I am getting from this site!
So I have been using coconut fiber for my beardies since I got them. I have been reading everywhere on this site that people are using carpet and tile and non adhesive shelf liner for flooring since sand/crushed walnut can cause impaction. Is the same true for coconut fiber? I got it in my head somewhere that beardies can digest it.
Anyways, I am wondering because if this can cause impaction too then of course I will get my beardies off it, and onto some tiles.

Thanks again everyone :D

Yeah, coco fiber isn't a very good substrate. I've used it for other pets of mine, and unless it is wet it is really dusty... That's actually why I don't use it anymore, it just got so gross! It might cause impaction too if they eat enough of it, but my main concerns would be the dust, humidity-holding qualities, and unsanitaryness of it.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
