coccidia treatment, not eating

She's a pretty girl! Glad to hear that she's doing a little better. I found the care page on this site for "SUPPORTIVE CARE DURING TREATMENT for COCCIDIA" to be REALLY helpful-- I'm actually treating a couple of my little guys for coccidosis right now. It's rough on them for sure.

It's not a compact coil right? What size is your tank? They sell the Reptisuns in 18" or 24" you need just a fluorescent light fixture to fit it.. they sell them in Walmart for about $9.00

You just take the light it comes with out, and replace it with the Reptisun. Make sure to keep the cover off the light.

the tank is a 20 ,
going to pick up the new light right now, I found an 18' 10.o

I picked up a Reptisun 10.0 compact and a deep dome, and changed the heat bulb. Temps in basking are now 100-110
Do I have the lights positioned right?

After reading the coccidia care sheet I added a small ceramic top heat lamp and a heat pad under the tank only for night temps to stay around the 80s. Bottom heat mat is uder the wood perch so she cant lay directly on it.

She is just hanging out by the new Reptisun light today, Her eyes seem to be closed a lot and I think its from that coil light might have damaged them.

The compact coil isn't good Can you return it and get the linear tube fluorescent one? I sent you the link to the one you want earlier.

She is getting better! Off medication now and eating like a champ. I really think the lights helped a lot!
