Chameleon with Yellow spot on its back

I have a young female veiled chameleon. For the last two weeks, its had a solid yellow splotch on its back that doesn't change color when it does. Any idea as to what it is? I was thinking she might be gravid, but she does have a bucket of soil to dig in should that happen.
