CATNIP?!!? HELP!

Odahviing ate a big mouthful of fresh catnip I was hand shredding for the cats. I grow it in my garden. It was clean and grown pesticide free, 100% organic.

She only just ate it and has not even began demonstrating any effects at all, bad or otherwise. I may be jumping the gun but could find no info RE a beardie eating catnip on Beautiful Dragons.

My HOPE is that, with catnip being a close relative to the mints and both spearmint and peppermint being listed as okay to feed OCCASIONALLY that catnip will be too. Some sort of confirmation would ve greatly appreciated or suggestions on what I can do to offset anything to do with ingestion of possibly bad for them substances.

She seems okay... Nothing weird last night. I'm waiting for her next couple poops to see if there's anything digestive, but it looks like I might have worried over a whole lot of nothing. -.-

I just imagined the stuff in catnip being terribly bad and making her awfully sick. Naturally I became a very worried Momma.

bearded dragons are very resilient and most herbs grow in the wild so i figure its ok once in awhile. My vet actually told me to mix rosemary in with sydneys salad when he was young and refused to eat salad. i guess the smell attracted him.

WOW she really does think she is a cat. I hope she is okay, and I seriously doubt it would be harmful to her. How is she?

Phew!!! All systems are go and seem normal. Her mood and behaviour is the same as usual, and she's pooping like she always does.

Thanks guys! I guess that the catnip chemicals didn't phase her... She was really into my hands. Yeah, ShannyBeard... Little weirdo IS a cat!!!
