I had an idea about beeding superworms and the eggs and waiting the superworms to grow is a bit time consuming (and the beetles has a high chance of impacting) so i was wondering if your could just feed a bearded dragon superworm pupae. plus they look more filling :D

also when they just turn to beetles and are still white would their shells be soft?

You could, I don't know necessarily how nutritious they are. I wouldn't feed the beatles, not even the recently morphed ones.

The pupae have barbs along their abdomen that can damage a lizard's mouth/throat; mealworms are similar, I had trouble feeding their pupae to some smaller skinks. Personally I wouldn't risk it.

The fresh white beetles are very soft :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
