Hi,
No, it doesn't look large enough compared to the basket sitting in there taking up almost half of the tank and the dome light fixture. Dragons need a 40 gal minimum. Maybe if you put something standard, other than that basket, to compare size to might help. Hold your hand by it or a gallon size container.

I'd have to say no. We are talking abou an animal with a potential overall length of 28-30" some on here say at least a 40b. I plan on building something with the footprint of a 90 for Toothless.

28-30'' seems a little big to me.. I'd say average is 18-24'' lets not talk gallons, what are the measurements of the tank?

Sorry. I was under the impression that Max was about 30"

You'll need a pretty high basking spot so he can get close enough the UBV (or fix it down lower in the tank). Otherwise, that sounds like an okay size since it seems like it would be close to 40g breeder size, just taller ?
