Heya Chris, Zsa Zsa says she challenges Luis to a competition of acrobatics lol 😆 😂 🤣
I think she REALLY wants out, but to be honest the lil chit is WAAYYY to fast to keep up with and she wants to look at everything in the house up close and from the inside, so I still don't take her out of her habitat much.
Oh and she is in the middle of her 1st full body shed for me. Her tail was in shed when I got her, and then her back legs now it's whole body. She won't be itty bitty for long 😪😪😔😔🤧
I have really missed having hatchlings in the house, I'm trying to enjoy every second of her at this stage!!!!!

Has anyone else ever noticed, you don't really realize how bad you need to clean the glass and vacuum out your habitats until you take a few pics??? Sheesh lol

Aww, she is looking so curious and she has become so much brighter since you got her (even besides the shed), I'd say she seems to have seddled in nicely.
Funny how brave she seems given her current size 😅
How is she eating through the full shed?

I'm pretty sure she would eat me to if I stayed still lol. She doesn't turn down any food, she eats greens and bugs like she hasn't been fed in days. She LOVES blueberries and will pick them out before anything else. (I don't give her to many though, to much sugar) She has learned to recognize the dish the bugs come in and looks like a runner staged at the starting block when she sees me bringing it. This morning she jumped off her perch into the bowl before I could set it down.
How is lilly adjusting? Are you able to bring her out of her habitat yet? I bet she is crazy fast also.

That sounds really good. You know they are fine and healthy if they eat like that, I'm really happy to hear this.

Lilly is doing good, she just finished shedding her legs and her body is already really pale. She did eat some but a little less greens this last couple of days but I did get her really big locusts which might have filled her up a little too much. Or it's the upcoming body shed.
Actually today was the first time she did let me pick her up without trying to run away, so that's good. I do not let her run around freely though, she's waay to curious and fast but I pick her up most days to give her water and she will run on my arm up to the shoulder. At this point that is where I'll grab her as she climbed down my back once and it's no fun to get a hold of her there.

Great photos! She is truly a professional acrobat. Looks like the lady really wants to get out of the terrarium and have some fun outside. I think you should encourage her desires.
It’s so good when a child eats everything. Foxy was a very capricious child as a child, and even now he doesn’t really like greens.

Heck I can't hardly get hold of an adult there, I'd never get hold of a baby lol. Zsa Zsa is a jumper so I don't let her go up my arm, the floor is tile and I'm terrified she'll leap and get injured. She leaped off of Christina once, luckily she was setting on a bar stool and Zsa Zsa landed in her lap. I think that was the last time he actually had her outside her habitat.

Her idea of "fun" gives me a heart attack lmao. I have a room that is empty, I'm considering blocking the bottom of all the closets and putting some stuff for enrichment in there. The room is 12x12 though, I'm not sure I could ever catch her again if she decided to be difficult lol.

It probably helps that Lillys tank is almost level with the floor and I have a thick carpet so I'll already sit on the floor when I interact with her. Also I do put a lot of time into her and sometimes sit in front of the glass for 15 min until she relaxes before I approach her. She doesn't really run from me anymore and if i have bugs for her, she will climb on my hand quite willingly.

How have you been holding or handling her inside of her tank?

I usually wait till she is face right and calm, then I approach her from the front and slide a couple fingers under her. If she's willing she climb onto my hand otherwise she turns into the flash lol.

That's also what I did when Taco was small and I started with handling him in the tank. (He just only didn't do the flash if he didn't want to be handled. He just made himself stiff, or walked away.)
Now: I still do this, fingers under his belly from the front, together with an "up!" and he climbs up and I take him out.

I use (and used) just a chair to sit next to the tank (tank is about 30 cm above floor level so with dragon on an elevated area in the tank that's on eye level), and interact (and interacted) with my dragon either in the tank when he was small, on a table (he has a branch to sit there), or having him on my lap or otherwise on me. Reason for not on the floor is I just cannot sit on the floor (because of a permanent lower back issue - no, I won't sit on anything lower than on an ordinary chair), so no interacting/playing with any pets on the floor. But if somebody is comfortable with that, I think it's a good solution.
The beardie enrichment room also sounds to me like a good idea :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
