It's really cool seeing a head pop out of the egg and suddenly run out! I witnessed 9 of the 17 hatch, including 6 of them from when the head popped out.

Some new pics after a bath. They're shedding.

They're a little lighter, if you compare them to the first pics, and the patterns have changed a little.

How many are still avilable? At what size are they ready to be sold? What size Viv do you need for them when they are adults? Lights? General setup?
thanks

There are still 6 available, including the one with the "kinky" back. They will be shipping next Monday (11/9), at 3 weeks old. They should be about 11" to 12" long at that time. I keep ours in custom 7ft x 3ft enclosures. They need a 100 to 110 degree basking spot, UVB, cypress mulch to burrow in and for humidity. Here's more info. http://tegutalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=20

They've probably doubled their weight in the past 2 weeks. They hatch at 7"-8" long and they're about 10" to 12" now. They're much easier to handle now, not as fragile or skittish (a bad combination! ).

The last one has been sold. Thanks everybody. I hope you enjoy them.

Next year we may have 2 clutches, possibly 30 tegu's. Check in next summer for the ongoing drama of waiting for the Tegu's to breed, waiting for the eggs to be laid, and waiting for them to hatch. There's a lot of waiting involved!!

There are now 2 hatchlings available!!!
I've been waiting for nearly 9 weeks for the final payment on them but the guy hasn't come through or even responded to my email/PM's in the past 2 weeks. His loss is your gain! I'll post some pics of them tonight.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
