I don't like crickets either especially since we have the adult ones and boy, do they chirp! Good that you have small dubias and reptiworms. Silkies are great, come in all different sizes, butters are good too as well as horns but the horns grow very quickly so if you get some of those, get the small ones and not too may at a time. When you feed the reptiworms, make sure you don't dust those as they are already high in calcium.

I had a similar problem with my female, she just stopped eating feeders which she normally gobbled up everyday no problem. I tried changing it up for her offered some new variety and still the same results. I told a friend about it and she had had the same problem a while back, she told me to try going up a size in feeders. Maybe my beardie was wanting something a little bigger. I tried it and she's back to her old glutton ways!! I didn't go huge with the bugs I just got them appropriately bigger. Thought maybe this might help you out..

Thanks. I only dust the dubias, not the reptiworms. I'll look for different feeders. Maybe he's bored.

I can't believe how big my little boy is getting. He's 13 weeks old and 1 foot long. He was grumpy this afternoon so I gave him a bath, which always makes him happy. After his bath he hung out in my shirt for a little while. That's as close to cuddles as I get lol.

It's been a while since I've posted pics. My life has been crazy!!! One of my goats gave birth to quads almost 3 weeks ago. Two of them were runts and she rejected them. I became mommy to a baby boy and a baby girl. The little girl was tiny and only lived 2 days. The little boy, Zeb, is doing great and getting big and healthy. But I have to take him everywhere with me due to bottle feeding. He lives in the house and goes to work with me. Luckily I own a private Massage Therapy practice and my clients are ok with a cute baby goat running around the office.

Anyway, Blaze is now 4 months old and 14" long! He's been a little butthead lately. Maybe it's because he's jealous of the baby goat or it's just because of his raging hormones. Who knows.

Here's a few pics from today. I wish the pics could show his beautiful colors better. He's becoming quite a beautiful citrus dragon.

My husband said, "Cute kid," while I made several noises that only dogs could hear. Sorry Blaze, game called on account of goat.

Aww Zeb is soooo cute! The picture of him sleeping on is precious. Blaze is looking great, can't believe how big he's gotten. No matter how big he gets he still has that sweet adorable little face. The looks he gives in some of his pictures are too funny, he's got such attitude.

I got a new phone today. The Samsung Galaxy Note. The camera on this phone is amazing! Here's a pic of Blaze and one of Zeb too.

Another shed coming on...

It's been a while since I have caught up with you and Blaze. So glad you posted some pics - and a GOAT...?! That's amazing. He is super sweet. Awwwww. :)

Blaze has a very intelligent look on his face in your pics. I think it is fun to have a dragon that acts up a little bit. Our big guy, Chief, is all hormones, head-bobs, black beards....and kisses. :love5: I love it when he crashes around the house. LOL

Glad to hear you are doing so well. :D

Here's a new basking rock/cave I'm making him. It's huge! I'll post pics when it's ready. He sleeps under is hammock every night so I'm going to make him a nice cozy cave bedroom out of this platform. He's going to have a blanky and maybe evens some pillows. :D

That's going to be an awesome cave hide. I made on for Odahviing, and she loves it. It goes right into the corner, toward the glass, and I love it too because I can see in on her. The glass slides open so I can get her out of her hide if I need to. It's great to give them a spot to go to that naturally gives them a place to tuck in like they'd do in the wild. It feeds in to their natural instinct and just makes them feel that much more at home. Odahviing loves when I give her a nice, fluffy fleece. I make sure there's lots of extra material, and she scratches at it to make a nest. I've hypothesized that she's treating it like sand. I think that's why they like the blankies so much, and the pillows. I imagine it's a lot like scratching in a place to burrow to sleep and snuggle in. The way it conforms is a lot like dug up sand/dirt.

Blaze is getting so big and handsome. I love the picture where his back feet are flipped over because he's so relaxed. I always want to tickle the bottoms of their feet because they look so cute that way. Sometimes Odahviing will be hanging onto my shirt, and she'll start to doze off. Her back claws will loosen and let go, so I'll support her with my hand. Her back feet always invert lack that when her legs dangle. I love it because it makes me feel like she must be so secure and happy to be that at ease and relaxed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
