Black spots on beardie head

So I got my beardie puff from petsmart in February and until now he's been normal and growing like a beast. A little backstory though I did go out of town and had my brother feed him but that's all my brother did was feed him. I come home and his basking bulb had managed to break the one time I'm not home and it was out for about 24 hours more or less. I replaced it as soon as possible this was Sunday/Monday. Yesterday or maybe Monday I was holding him in my palm and him being crazy decided to jump into the oblivion thinking the sink was closer than it actually was. So he hit the edge of the sink (it's not sharp which is good) and fell onto the floor flat. He seemed fine after and he was moving normally. He has been eating crickets and his veggies. I've been noticing though that his head would get dark spots and I know they tend to change color when they're stressed or temperature but his head never really did that by itself with his body being his normal color. Also what's weird is I was bathing him today and his color was normal and when I put him back in his viv his head had the black spots. Idk if it's from the fall or if it's because his basking bulb was off for a day or what. Also when he's not threatened he tends to get like inflated but not his beard just his stomach and then I'll pick him up and in a second it'll be normal. Please help. I've included pictures of how he his normally and how he is with the black spots.

He looks OK to me. The dark spots just look like darkening of the scales on top of his head which is OK. He is all puffed out and looks to be content and basking which would also lead him to darken his coloring a bit to absorb more heat/light.
