Black freckles on lips

Hi all,

My Randy has developed what looks like a few freckles on the scales of his lips. Is this an early sign of yellow fungus? He is not on any medication or antibiotics or anything so is there anything else that could be causing this? I'm trying to upload a pic but he won't stay still LOL

Ok so the pic isn't the greatest, you have to really look hard to see the spots I mean. You can see them better face to face

Do they look like these?

If so then they're just dead pigment cells and it's not anything to worry about, it just happens sometimes.
