A little back story: I work for a vet and got a phone call saying someone found a bearded dragon on their mailbox and they didn't know what to do with it. She was in rough shape and had a mass on her eye. The doc said he'd be willing to try the surgery to remove it and I agreed to take care of her. She's a doll. I wish I knew more of her history.
I figured you guys would enjoy seeing some pictures from the whole ordeal. It was definitely exciting and it went really well as far as we can tell. We assumed the eye was part of the tumor but it was actually just in the upper lid. The vet fashioned a slightly smaller eye opening so she can hopefully still keep her eye protected and lubricated, giving her the best chance of saving her vision on that side. So super cool for our little rescue girl.
I'd love any guesses on age and if you guys have seen masses like this before. It was infected so it could've been just a knarley abscess too.
(Sorry these are upside down, I don't know how to fix it ?)
