beardie cling

so i was wondering if it is normal for a beardie to be clingy. hes content being held all day, and wants to be attached to my shirt and lay on my chest all day. its not a problem but just wondering if that is normal for a reptile, for i never thought so lol.

Beardies are not reptiles...LOL...they are scaly puppies. :lol:

Yes it is normal for a beardie to enjoy hanging out on their slave. Just make sure he's getting enough UVB. :wink:
I know most of mine would hang out all day if I let them, but they do need to bask in order to digest all their food properly.

my mother didnt understand my attachment to beardies until the other night. she came and stayed with me and my boyfriend and i had my juvy leatherback out snoozing on my chest. i moved him over to her chest and she sat there rubbing his head during the movie. now she understands. lol

My dad didn't understand until Grendel and I stayed with him for a few weeks. Now he invites us both over for dinner.

Tiki would snuggle ALL DAY if I let her - and if it's not snuggling, then she wants to run around the house like an Olympic sprinter.

i actually got mine from a friend, she was a breeder but for boas... we got a boa for free when they decided they didnt want to breed anymore for 2 of the main snakes died, and then i mentioned when i seen the beardie that if she wanted to get red of him let me know, well she let me know. i know the lady had like 6 kids all under 12 that were ALL able to handle him, even my 2 toddler can and hes fine with it, i dont think it matters so much where you get em, all are going to be different. but i think it matters on what age you got yours and how much u take them out, and how much they want attention we just got lucky

My nicest dragon I got from petco, and my meanest dragon I got from a breeder lol. I now (as of today) have 4 dragons. Each dragon has their own personality so it just depends.
