beardie changing colour

hey all i dont know if she is sick or not so posting here , woke up today to see that grandine has gone from her usual dark colour , looks like dark green and brown , she has gone a yellowish colour kinda like the colour of her viv , she walking round ate some for me this morning but thats it , i did give her some hoppers yesterday and so thought she might hvae been constipated so she got a abth last night , she pooed this morning but there was a half digested cricket in it , gave her a bath again today about 5 my time to see if she need another poo but she was more interested in playing hide and go seek , she did get her colour back for a bit but she went yellow again about an hour ago so gave her another bath hoping her colour comes back and stays back this time .

has anyone any ideas why she would go from her normal dark colours to a yellow colour?

I have a 5-month-old beardie that does the same thing. He is perfectly healthy and eats well. I did read somewhere that beardies' color can change to regulate their body temperature, and can also be an indicator of their mood. I have noticed that his color is darker and more vibrant when he is warmer, being active, or under his basking light, and his color is paler when he is cooler or less active. If your beardie is paler than normal, check the temperature of his tank to make sure it's not too cool. That could also be the issue with the half digested cricket, as beardies need to have a properly heated basking spot in order to fully digest their food. Hope this helps!

thanks for the info she is her normal dark colour again , she now only changes when she window dances and wants to come out, so i take her out and she falls asleep on my chest for an hour lol
