I got this Little Tiny Baby at pet Smart on the 6th of October, they knew nothing about it , i was wondering if anyone has any idea what Morph she would be or might be able to tell me anything about her... im not even sure on her age... just know she is shedding now and a few days ago was only as big as my thumb... I just love her to bits already :) Also been having a hard time getting her to eat ANY veggies... would love any suggestions on that too

The First & Second Picture is from the day I got her, she was a bit skinny and scaley looking...the last two are her now, she's shedding but seems much happier and looks much better :)

As others have said, the pics aren't working, but if she is really teeny, it's probably her first shed. My babies had their first shed about 3.5-4 weeks old, their tails went one day, their bodies over the next couple of days, and their head over the next couple, with a few teeny bits making their faces itch for a while longer. Their second shed is happening now, at 7 weeks.

I'd guess that maybe your baby is a little older than mine when they shed for the first time, as petsmart probably underfed him so he didn't grow as quickly. Without seeing the pics, I'd guess in the region of 4-6 weeks old.

Vampy will be able to guess the age better than me since I don't have any experience with raising multiple babies. But they pretty much grow faster if they have more food. My baby is 3 months old but only weighed 17g when she arrived last week. She was 23g yesterday after 6 days of eating a ton of dubias everyday. I guess she couldn't compete with her siblings or the breeder doesn't feed their babies enough. Other 3-month babies at A1 Reptiles are also pretty small. They look very healthy regardless of their sizes though.

As for your baby, she looks a little thin. How is she eating? She looks like a normal with a bit more colors. I rarely see fancy morphs at Petco or Petsmart. Some members have picked up leatherbacks from Petco or Petsmart, but I have yet to see VERY colorful babies or translucent. I have seen one hypo citrus at a Petsmart once.

Eating Crickets well, and has definately gotten bigger since I got it, her belly is quite rounded now lol, just wish I could get her to eat her veggies. She isnt too keen on them yet... tried green bean baby food, on her greens and got her to lick them a bit today... going to keep working on getting her to want them.. Spent two days letting her lick it from my fingers, so today was Progress:)

She certainly looks teeny in the first pics, but seems to be growing well, still a little small, but nothing to worry about. It's so hard to say how old she is because chain pet stores often sell babies too young and also underfeed them, so she could really be any age from a few weeks to 2 or 3 months. So long as you're feeding her as much as she needs and your setup is correct, I doubt you'll have anything to worry about and she'll soon grow into a big strong girl.

I posted a few days ago about how I got my babies to eat their veggies, you could try some of the things I tried: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=178861&p=1440508#p1440508

Try something colorful like butternut squash and prickly pear. Dice them up into tiny cubes. My baby tends to only eat them when they scattered on the floor. The floor on her cage is white too so the colorful veggies really stand out.

If it's from petsmart it's definitely not a leather back. Plus it doesn't look like one. I am not sure on age because you never know from pet stores. I got mine from Petco and I thought she was younger then she really is. My vet told me reptiles from pet stores like this tend to be smaller because they aren't in proper conditions. As far as Morph I don't know the proper name but my Thor looked very similar when she was young. She had those big orange spots in her pattern. But as she got older her colors became just normal beardie colors.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
