Hello,
I just got two baby beardies from the pet store (for free) yesterday because they have limb issues. The pet store reassured me that they were otherwise acting healthy, eating and active etc., which they are... They are eating very well, active and don't appear to be in distress.
One is missing it's right front limb and just has a stump that looks like it just fell off. The other one has toes on his left hind foot that appear to be darker and atrophied. There is no oozing, no swelling and the wound appears closed on the one that is missing his front limb.
I am not sure what to do and at the moment can't necessarily afford a huge vet bill but am wondering if that's just what I need to do. Has anyone had an experience like this before? I don't know if they were injured, if this an illness or what...
If need be I can take them to the vet, but I am hoping that I might get more info about this first. My husband is like, they are fine... I am of course, worried... Sheesh.
Thanks in advance.
