Hello,

I honestly think that you should take him to a vet. He could have internal injuries that might be able to be treated. I am not guaranteeing he has internal injuries, but, if he did land on a rock from a 10 feet drop that is a fair assumption of assessment. It is possible that if he does have internal bleeding, that early treatment could save him.
So, at home right now, there is nothing more you can do other than keep him comfortable & try to keep him from moving around as much as possible in case of severe injury. Also, it is good to remember that a lot of times, if they are injured, that it may not show immediately. They are extremely good at hiding injury & illness because it is an innate behavior. In the wild, they do not want to succumb to predators so they do not show weakness.
If you need to find a reptile vet, try this link:

Until then, monitor his behavior, try to keep him calm. Move his lights down to where he does not have to climb to bask so he is just laying on the bottom of his tank with no rocks, limbs, etc right now. Is that possible to modify his tank right now to get him more comfortable?
Is his beard black at all?

Its the day after the fall and things are looking ok. I dont wanna say they are great but def better then yesterday. Yesterday he was bulging his eyes out on both size(crazy crazy looking) he had his beard puffed out and he was waving his head like a crazy man really scary stuff. Last night he started moving around normally and today he seems close to normal. BUT HE STILL SPENDS A LARGE AMOUNT OF HIS TIME HIDING, he has never been one to hide all day ........................ im def still a little worried. Can that mean anything? And also he seems much more scared and skittish then ever running from people even his buddy lex my border collie.

Welll........ look at this from his point of view. If you fell that distance , wouldn't you want to lay down and hide ? I would just keep a close eye on him.. Document everything, even if it is normal. You also might want to remove the hide, if you are not able to closely watch him inside that.

I still would try to get him to a vet ASAP even if things look like there getting better, Tracie is really knowledgable with beardies and it's always a good thing to be on the safe side.

As far as the "hiding" part, that's a normal reaction your beardie is scared and it might take awhile till things get back to normal. At this point i wouldnt bother him to much it's important to keep a close eye on him or else I would say cover his Viv with a sheet or tape paper around the glass so he can get use and feel more safe in his enviroment.Hope your beardie feels better.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
