Attempting Something New

I have two handsewn hammocks I created. One is large enough to form across his basking side and his UVB side. I'm going to see how he performs with the extra large one today. I put some of his 'toys' underneath for better leverage and cushion. I don't want him to fall and hurt himself.
Before the soft furnishings of his bed, I had a hammock UVB spot for him to lay on which he loved.
I still have a cardboard box which will be eventually removed from his tank. He already pooped today.
We shall see how he is on his hammock for UVB. I want to see if he can move around on and climb up on his box. He climbs off well. He also seemed alert too.

So, a hammock may not be a good idea. He doesn't 'remember' how to get off of it. He was dangling by one arm and had closed his eyes.
