My dubia roaches are super soft because lately I've been feeding only veggies. My reptiles love them. And I dont see any differences in size when I was feed them dog food also. They grow to the same size...may be even bigger.

It's fine to feed your dubias mostly veggies as long as it's a well balanced variety. However, as for the dubias being softer - it could also be a result of the extra humidity that fresh produce would release into the air in the dubia bin. What kind of water source did they have before the fresh veggies? I just recently switched from using damp paper towels to using water gel/crystals now instead. The humidity in my dubia bin is definitely much higher now & my roaches have become softer too.

That's true. I think they can harden their exoskeleton like tarantulas to prevent the lost of moisture.

And beofore this they were getting their water from veggies also, but I fed them low-fat, dry, dog food, too...

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
