Another roach question

I know dubias can be pretty pricey, but what's the best place to buy lower-priced but still good quality roaches in bulk? And preferably breeding pairs. Or is there even someone selling a colony or extra roaches? I am going to be starting up a dubia colony very soon. Thanks :mrgreen:

my suggestion would be to buy 1000 mixed...there are a few sellers between here and some other forums with 1000 for $100. i would take the largest and let them grow into your breeders and feed off some of the smaller ones. ..pm if you need anymore help....id be glad to explain in detail how i got my colony goin...

Check out the For Sale forum. My suggestion is to buy as many adult females as you can or as needed, and less males if you can (some places only sell in pairs). It doesn't seem right, paying $1 or so per female, but it's actually the most cost effective way to get a colony started.

bought all my roaches off of here from the for sale section and there all good quality.

A lot of people I know got them from Ken the Bug Guy.... But it would be better off if you get them from someone closest to you, and I'm not sure if he is still selling the dubia roaches.
