Always acts like he's starving but is getting plenty of food

So Phoenix is acting very weird. He's probably around 6 months old I would say...
Anyway, whenever I give him any type of food, he always gobbles it up like he's starving. I feed hm ALL DAY. Between Crickets, worms, squash, and greens he is getting a ton of food each day. In addition, whenever I take him out and let him walk around, he desperately tries to eat the dots on my dotted carpet. And whenever that happens her gets extremely black under his beard. Which I know is a sign of stress.

I just feel like the only thing he does is try to eat, so when he can't eat the dots on the carpet he gets angry. Im curious if you guys think this might be a parasite problem? What's a good course of action?

They will eat like a teenager at 6 months but the way your describing it yes he could have something. I would have him checked out by a vet that deals with reptiles.
Let us know how it turns out? Also putting up a pic of his salad and crickets next to him to get some kind of judgement as to the size of food.

Tasty Treat is the same exact way.

She never stops eating, even when she can't climb up her basking log.

When she comes out she runs up to cords and tries to eat them, then bites my fingers when i pull her away.

You just have to make sure you don't overfeed him. I leave greens in her dish all day so she'll eat that if she's 'dying' from starvation because it's been 30 minutes since her last meal.
