alternative pain management?

Has anyone used alternative pain management methods? Essential oils?(the rage right now) anything? My Bert is on 2 pain meds and an anti-inflammatory and his beard still doesn't go all the way white, so I'm taking that as he's still uncomfortable. I just want to know what else is out there!

Have you tried serrapeptase? It isn't a pain reliever but is a natural anti inflammatory that is found in the gut of silkworms. It's available as a liquid supplement.

I hope it is helpful! Perhaps other have experience with a more direct pain reliever and can add their thoughts as well.
