I made the background by myself. Not bad for my 2nd one.

I tiled the back wall & just put 6" ceramic tiles for the floor. I also made my fake rock ledges with the polystyrene and grout. It was a lot of fun. I did it while my husband was out of town & he was impressed with my work.

your husband should be impressed, Its an awesome setup, Has a very roomy feel, i think my lizard might feel a bit cramped...might have to make another one. lol, Awesome setups guys, i think we should all go into business together.

I have been thinking about doing backgrounds and selling them on ebay lol.

agreed...I have also thought about it as well. But how many pet owners ever search for that?

Probally not many. Maybe sell them to local reptile shops.

I havent finished yet. I just put another coat of grout on the rock today, and just barely put the first coat on the interior of the cupboard. I'm having a creative block on how to go about mounting the lights and where.

all four of these enclosures are temp controlled by one thermostat.

My DIY enclosure. 4'x2'x2' with a fully removable screen front. 1/2 of the left and right sides also have screen, top is screened to allow for proper ventilation. I'm considering making fake rocks soon :3
