No, I'm not trying to breed my girls but I went into our local Petsmart to look at, you know, the pretty baby beardies. They looked, to my inexperienced eyes, to be not much older than hatchlings, I didn't measure them but they seemed to be about 4 inches. The lady I was chatting with said they just got them in and they were about one month old, seriously I doubt that. She also said that females shouldn't be bred until they were 4 years old. Somehow, I think 4 is a little old to be breeding females but I wanted to come on here and check with our experienced breeders.

Thanks all for your input.

Thanks Tom. That's what I thought, based on my reading on here. I know that those at Petsmart don't always know what they are talking about, they just know what they are told.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
