I'm taking care of 10 babies and two of them started holding their heads down to one side. When they walk they are wobbly.

They did have a zilla repti glo coil bulb so I turned it off. These are not mine so I can only do so much. The tank is to small for my 100 powersun so I don't know what else to do.

I have been bathing them and they eat okay. Do you think the bulb is the problem? I have a house hold bulb and a heat emitter on right now. The temps are good.

Now one of them rolls over. Can anyone help me! Any ideas welcome.

Sahara did the same thing just a few weeks ago.... She wound up being fine after about 2 days but it was mainly because she had become impacted. How does their poop look?

That's good that you turned the coil bulb off, did the symptoms start when the bulb was still on though? What are the basking & cool side temps, what size tank are they in?

I believe it's a 15g . My friend always uses these bulbs with his babies and he has not had any problems. But I still don't like them.

The basking temps are 97-100 becuase it gets to hot on the coolside which is around 82. So I don't want to raise the basking temp.

Could lack of D3 cause this? I feel terrible.
Should I go buy a repti sun 10 in the morning? He doesn't think anything is wrong with the bulb because the reptile store uses them and they used some special gun to read it and said they were fine. So I can't convince him to change.

Well, if they are babies, the basking temps should be a little higher and up to 110. Could you raise the basking site closer to the basking bulb?

Are you using either a temp gun or digital with probe end to check the temps? Just want to be sure.

If they are hypocalcemic, it could cause the imbalance issues, dehydration could too. The coil bulb could have been a large part of it too. It would be a good idea to get a Repti-Sun 10.0 fluorescent but you will pay a lot more from a petstore, but they have been without proper UVB up to now. They will be ok without any for a few days, but wouldn't wait much longer than that. I hope you can help them to improve.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
