Pinky Mice question?

Hi there people of the bearded dragons and interwebz. I just got one question. My bearded dragon, whom we call Chaos, hasn't been eating right lately. I've done some research and was wondering if I can feed him a pinky mouse. Just a frozen one from petco, because he hasn't had much nutrition lately. I've been out of mealworms, supers, crickets, and roaches because my roaches got delayed and haven't had live food in 3 days. Plus I want him healthy and get those vitamins and nutrients. Hes about a foot and a half long, and looks like he can handle it. He eats anything that moves, and if I tease him enough, he'll eat something dead. Do you think it will be okay if I feed him ONE pinky mouse? Thanks in advance!

Hi there....I would avoid pinky mice completely right now. There are reports of salmonella being found in pet store pinkies, so try something different. If you can't get superworms or crickets, try a bit of scrambled egg [ microwaved, no oil ] Just a couple of quarter size pieces. How big [ exactly ] is your dragon and how much does he weigh ? Can you post a full body shot ?

Alright. He's 17 inches from head to tail, and I'm not sure how much he weighs. I have a scale but its WAAAAAAAAAAY too small.
