I was reading a few posts in the ER section (extremly depressing) and was wondering if anyone has used any of the liquid bandage products for cuts or when a tail gets chopped.

Wouldn't recommend using the liquid bandage on a beardie and reptilemaster is right, it stings horribly, I couldn't wait for it to dry so it would stop hurting.

Does your beardie have an injury that you are trying to treat?

No, no injury. I had just been reading one of the ER posts (the recent tail injury) and it got me thinking of how to apply a bandage to a bleeding animal. I did a quick google search and came across this stuff called CA Glue which apparently had been used since the 70's in vetrinary applications (so says wikipedia). Although it sounded like it was mostly for bone repair.

Ive never used any type of liquid bandage but i like the idea of it. So i thought maybe it would be something easy and effective if i ever had a beardie with a bleeding wound. If i remember the next time i take my beardie to the vet ill ask if they have any opinions on it.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
