Rescue!

Today I rescued a Leprod Gecko from a friends step son. He’s around 12 years old and still seems healthy. He was pretty neglected up to today. No heat lamp for awhile only a heat pad, pee and poo in the substrate along with dead left behind crickets, hasn’t been fed in 2 weeks and you couldn’t even see through the glass of the tank! I brought him home today and deep cleaned everything, new substrate, new hide, new heat lamp, new accessories and live roaches in the food bowl! He’s been very active and curious in his new home and hopefully he’ll be around for a couple more years! He’s across the from my 3 month old beardie! Any input or experience from anyone? I’ve done a little bit to get him going but anything is better than how he was cared for before! MEET SPOTS!!

He's cute! I would say just make sure you have his husbandry correct (which it sounds like you did right away), just watch them both to make sure they don't get overly stressed by seeing each other. Other than that, you should have a good number of years with him! ?

It was supposed to say “across the room from each other” they are a good 25 feet away from each other and not straight across, so I think they will be fine! And thanks!!
